It was a great day for warblers at Melton Hill Park in west Knox County this
morning. I birded for just under 3 hours starting at 10:20 this morning and
found 8 species of warblers that I could ID (plus another 1 or 2 that I
couldn't). Most of them were seen at various places along the trail that goes
uphill through the trees from the west boat ramp and comes out near the
maintenance trailer. I counted at least 5 Magnolia Warblers but there could
have been twice as many; they really like the mimosas. My warbler list:
 Black-and-white Warbler 2

Common Yellowthroat 1

American Redstart 4

Magnolia Warbler 5

Yellow Warbler 1

Chestnut-sided Warbler 1

Palm Warbler 2

Pine Warbler 2
