[TN-Bird] Merlin - Anderson County

A Merlin was observed and photographed this afternoon near the Bull Run Fossil 
Plant ash disposal area in south Anderson County.  The bird was observed in the 
trees and snags between the ash disposal area and Melton Hill Lake, near Clinch 
River mile 47 (less than a mile up the Clinch from the mouth of Bullrun Creek).
Interestingly, an American Kestrel repeatedly harassed the Merlin from its 
various perching spots in the snags along the river bank.
