[TN-Bird] Re: Mid-Oct hummer

I have had hummers daily through this morning, two last night and two again 
this morning.  The hummers visiting this morning did visit the feeders briefly. 
 The hummers that I've been watching over the past several days prior to this 
morning have only visited the salvia, black and blue salvia and pineapple 
salvia and not the feeders.

My husband and i were surprised this afternoon to watch a female  Ruby-throated 
hummingbird briefly work her way through our patch of dahlia and canna blossoms 
this afternoon. She never once even checked the hummer feeder we've been 
meaning to bring in...
