Birders: ( Migrating Birds & Waterfowl at Mossy Creek Wildlife Viewing Area in Jefferson City ) Today on Feb. 24, 2007 this morning Shane and Dennis Adams went to Mossy Creek Wildlife Viewing Area in Viewing Blinds 1 & 2 in Jefferson City to do some birdwatching and we saw some good birds and wildlife included they are: First Migrating Birds ; Yellow Rumped Warbler at both viewing blinds 1 & 2, Red Winged Blackbirds at viewing blind 1, Second the Waterfowl, about 70 + Mallards ( with green and purple heads drakes and mixed with hens ) also at viewing blind 1 a quick note on the Yellow Rumped Warbler it flew up close to the viewing blind 1 and it landed on the roof between the upper and lower level of the viewing blind 1 and I could not get picture and it also has got a bright yellow spots on its tail feathers and under both of its wings maybe next time with the picture of the Yellow Rumped Warbler.
