Monday Western Tanager
It looks like Monday morning would be a good time to come and see the Tanager.
Looking at the long range forecast I think that there will be other
opportunities later in the week and on the weekend, but I’ll wait till it’s
closer to give an invitation for that.
Currently the only time that he pretty consistently comes is right around
sunrise. The only place to see him is from inside the house. On one side, you
would have to be in a neighbor’s yard and on the other side to get close enough
to see the feeders, you would scare the birds away.
The weather is getting colder and he will get more consistent. I will continue
to try to get as many of you as possible over to see the bird. He will be here
for the winter.
