This morning on the west side of Morristown in Hamblen County, I had a male Rose-Breasted Grosbeak at my feeder. He is the first one that I have recorded in my yard ever. I think I even heard a Wood Thrush yesterday morning, but I was never able to spot him. Guess making my yard a bit more bird-friendly is paying off. (Also, thanks to a lot of very nice people in KTOS, I?m getting better at identifying birds. They have endured my endless questions so very graciously!!) I still have White-Throated Sparrows ? saw one yesterday afternoon and heard one this morning, but my numbers are definitely down from the winter.
