This morning 8 birders showed up at Peeler Park for the NTOS field trip, and we
managed 28 species, and one participant saw some Cedar Waxwings from the
parking lot before we started. The only bird flagged as rare was an Osprey
circling over as we neared the parking lot on the way out. A bit disturbing
were the 14 + feral cats in the parking lot as we arrived, then counting 20
habitats for them in the woods before I left.
