Good Evening.
On behalf of NTOS, Susan Hollyday and myself we¹d like to thank the 35
folks who came out today for the first of four spring Wednesday morning
Radnor Walks! The weather was clear with a bit of a breeze and by the end
of our walk the group had accumulated 55 species. Highlights included 4
Barred Owls, a fly-over by a Green Heron and a Broad-winged hawk, great
looks at Blue-headed Vireo and Blue-winged Warbler, more Blue-Gray
Gnatcatchers, Palm Warblers and Yellow-rump Warblers than anyone could count
and 2 very cooperative Spotted Sandpipers bobbing away on a log in the
sunshine.
Our next walk will be Wednesday, April 26thwe¹ll meet again at 7:30 am in
the Visitor¹s Center Park lot of Radnor Lake with NTOS Treasurer Pam Lasley
will be leading the group. We hope to see you there!
