For those interested, I have a number of images up from my recent couple of days birding the Reelfoot area and then Duck River. Nothing rare, just whatever presented an interesting subject. Of note to some, might be a number of shots of Long-billed and Shot-billed Dowitchers along nice direct comparsions in full alternate plumage. The first new photo starts here: http://www.pbase.com/mctodd/image/143150664/original For those with extra time on your hands.....I have finally gotten my pix from a January trip to southern Mexico (southern Yucatan) up. There are a lot of photos here, in chronological order. Some neat stuff, like Ornate Hawk-Eagle only feet away, Sungrebe, Pinnated Bittern, amongst many others. As usual, the original size under the photos will provide the best looks. The galley is here: http://www.pbase.com/mctodd/se_mexico_birding_2012 Good Birding!!
