Birded along the riverside portion of Songbird Trail below Norris Dam today from ~11:15 - 1:45. The jewelweed is plentiful and the hummers were chasing each other all over the place. A little slow today at first but had a few good migrants including 2 first-of-year in Canada and Wilson's warblers.
American redstart - 1 f Black-and-white warbler - 2 m,f Common yellowthroat - 1 heard Canada warbler - 1 f (f.o.y.) Hooded warbler - 2 m,f Magnolia warbler - 1 (f.o.s.) Wilson's warbler - 1 (f.o.y.) White-eyed vireo - 2 Yellow-throated vireo - 2 Blue-gray gnatcatcher - 1 Eastern wood pewee - 1 Ruby-throated hummingbird - lotsRed-shouldered hawk - 1 flying overhead then later perched in walnut orchard
