[TN-Bird] Northern Parula et al

Heard the welcoming song of a Northern Parula today while out in the field
at a river bluff along the Cumberland River, off of Dunbar Cave Road,
Clarksville, Montgomery County, TN. This is a site that I have come to enjoy
as I have recently been collecting vascular plants there for my Field Botany
(4050) class taught by D. Estes Ph.D. I also observed a Barred Owl at this
site earlier in the spring as well as a Red-tailed Hawk. Also, for those
interested, I caught and observed a Eurycea lucifuga (Cave Salamander) under
some tree debris. It is not unusual to find these salamanders far from cave
entrances as long as they are in limestone composite soil.
