Great good fortune this evening about 7:30--

Birding a favorite haunt along Holly Creek near Tusculum, I found a
Northern Waterthrush feeding just before roosting.

Northern Waterthrush is a hard transient to find here, in fall as well
as spring.  I feel really lucky every time I get one.

Also had an American Redstart in the back yard this morning, my first of
the year.
