There are one or more Red-breasted Nuthatches at our feeder and "our"
Rufus-sided Towhee (I refuse to call this beauty by any other name despite what
a few people at Cornell say) has returned. Cardinal population has dropped
with advent of warmer weather, but most of the winter, we could see 35 or more
around the back yard. Wood duck pair may be nesting in duck house on pond
behind house as we frequently see one or both swimming and snarfing the
plentiful supply of Duckweed.
