And I'll also add that Wheeler Wildlife Refuge Festival of Cranes will be held
January 14th and 15th.
There will be children's arts and craft activities, guided hikes, crane
programs and Auburn's Birds of Prey educational show. It's free and always a
wonderful time!

is still being seen at Wheeler NWR in Decatur AL. There were also 6 Whooping
Cranes visible while we were there. For those that have never visited, it is
about a 1.5-2 hour drive from the Nashville area. They have an observation
building, so even if it is raining or really cold, you can still enjoy the
many ducks, geese, cranes and other birds.
