Univ. Tennessee Arboretum, Oak Ridge TN. Monday 2nd SeptFirst let me introduce myself as a sometime birder from England resident in Oak Ridge for a few weeks trying to get to grips with your birds. So apologies if I get too excited about something which seems all too common to you.
Highlights at the arboretum from about 18:00 yesterday were : Chestnut sided warbler 2 Black & White Warbler 1 Hooded warbler 1 Red eyed vireo 1Cerulean warbler 1 (??) All to fleeting views to allow me to confidently ID - no yellow, green or black - generally grey, paler underneath, double pale wing bar and prominent pale supercilium.
A skunk was also a first for me.
