I birded most of the Percy priest lake hotspots today with near perfect
conditions for scope viewing on the water. Most notable for continuing
large numbers of loons, including both smaller species.

Highlights:

Seven points rec area (boat ramp) - 76 Red-breasted Mergansers in two large
rafts.

Cook Rec area - Pacific Loon, Merlin

Dam overlook / Greenway area - continuing Franklin's Gull

Hamilton Creek - Red-throated Loon fairly close to boat ramp.

Anderson Road Fitness Trail - adult Lesser Black-backed Gull, all three
loons including 3 different Pacific Loons. The same red-throated from
Hamilton Creek could be seen over by the marina. A dozen Herring Gulls,
dozens of Bonaparte's and RB Gulls, well over 100 Common loons.

Good birding!
