(Not related to TN or KY Birding, delete now if you wish) All, For anyone interested, I've posted 80-odd shots from a recent trip to southeast Arizona. This trip was from May 7 to the 16th, as I accompanied a group from KY. We birded hard, and got on the order of 190 species in the course of our target birding. We cleaned up pretty well, and being my 1st trip to AZ (or west of central TX) I got the most lifers at 71! As my travels have been limited somewhat, I got my 500th ABA-bird on this trip, Dusky-capped Flycatcher, and came pretty close to 550! Some of the highlights from the trip were seeing 9 species of Owls, 11 species of Hummingbirds, and some real goodies like Flame-colored Tanager and Black-capped Gnatcatcher. We got all of the expected SE Arizona specialties, including Five-striped Sparrow and Buff-colored Nightjar. The photos are at: http://www.pbase.com/mctodd/az_trip_spring_2005 . There are 2 pages of thumbnails, clicking on any thumbnail will bring up the full-size photo. You can navigate with the "previous" and "next" buttons on the pages without having to go back to the main gallery. Most of the images are decent, a few are bad, and a few are pretty good. Good Birding!!
