Friends, If anyone cares to relive a recent trip to Ecuador vicariously.....I've placed a large number of images in a new gallery. Myself and several fellow TNBirders birded the NW sector of Ecuador for those great Choco birds, then made our way down the east slope to Wild Sumaco, with many great stops inbetween. It was a great trip, highlighted by hummingbirds of course, with 60+ tallied! Too many highlights to list over 11 days of birding. We were guided by the incredible Lelis Navarette, without doubt one of the best guides in all of South America. The trip was put together by Parnership for International Birding (who David Trentley is now affiliated with, who a lot of you TNBirders know). www.pibird.com My gallery is done differently this time, with a gallery for each day. Be warned Day 1 is a very big gallery, all subsequent days are much smaller. A seperate gallery has all of the scenery and group shots, which Gail King kindly contributed to. Chris Sloan got a ton of awesome images also, as I'm sure Gary Brunvoll did. The gallery is here: http://www.pbase.com/mctodd/ecuador_2014 Good Birding!! Mike Todd McKenzie, TN birder1@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
