For those interested, I've uploaded a few photos from a quick trip over the weekend over to Red Slough WMA, in extreme southeast OK. David Arbour had put together a Yellow Rail drag, and that was a bird I was seriously wanting a photo of. It worked out well, though not in the way I had expected it to. I was hoping for a good flight shot, which I missed for various reasons, but wasn't expecting what I DID get at all. A few other odd and end birds, including some Scissor-tail interactions, a mass of Tree Swallows, and some family shots of Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks at Texarkana.
