Graham Gerdemann and I came across a small flock of Pine Siskins while
birding on private property in Fairview, TN today. After last winter not
hearing or seeing any around middle TN, it was great to hear that "zipper"
call and see them foraging around. Hopefully this is a sign of things to
come and we'll have them around this winter.
