Yesterday, 5/1/05 as I was walking along the boardwalk at the Chattanooga
Nature Center to unlock the treehouse I heard a Prothonotary warbler across
Lookout Creek. I said to myself. "I hope he flies over hear so that I can get
a good look at him." And he did. He was about 10 feet from me for about a
minute. Today I noticed that he seems to have taken up residence in the
wetland around the treehouse. This is good news for us because we have
historically had them nesting in our wetlands. Last year we didn't have any
and I was concerned that we had lost them somehow.
