After waking up to a Great Horned Owl still calling at 7:30 AM in my yard, I ventured over to Radnor Lake (Davidson Co.) and spent about 90 minutes checking for migrants. There were a good number of transients, although the viewing conditions were terrible. There was a group of birders about a quarter mile ahead of me so they'll undoubtedly have more to report, but noteworthy on my list were: 1 Cerulean Warbler (male) 1 Orange-crowned Warbler (seen several times quite well) 1 Philadelphia Vireo Chris Sloan Nashville, TN http://www.chrissloanphotography.com
