I missed the birds Jan Shaw and Jackie Corbin saw but I did get a great look
at 4 blue winged warblers, one just past the drive into the East Parking lot
and three more at the Long Bridge. The highlight was a Swainson’s Warbler
near the same spot I saw the single blue-winged.
I also had a black-throated green at the long bridge and a worm-eating just
past the barred owl nest. Numerous yellow rumps and palm warblers plus a
northern parula along Otter Creek rd.
In addition I saw a first of year Eastern kingbird along the dam,
