Yesterday, I was passing the area where UTK is building the Sorority Village complex on Kingston Pike at Neyland Drive. I saw a hawk fly across Kingston Pike from north to south and land on the power lines. It appeared to be a Red-Shouldered Hawk, but I couldn't stop to get a better look. It was surveying the construction site, probably its former hunting grounds.
