We have had a red-headed woodpecker in our backyard visiting all the feeders
and bullying the blue jays, mockingbirds, squirrels and rose-breasted
grosbeaks for the past two days. Although they were common here 20 years
ago we don't regularly see them anymore and it has been a treat. An adult
male.
