Today (Dec. 5, just after noon) at Musick's Campground on South Holston Lake
(in northeast TN) I observed a Red-throated Loon. Also present were 2 Com.
Loons, 1 Pied-billed Grebe, 12 Horned Grebes, 12 Red-br. Mergansers, 10
Bonaparte's Gulls, & an ad. Bald Eagle (another near the dam). At the weir
(below the dam) were 235 Buffleheads & 2 Wigeon.
