Birders,
Today (10th) approximately thirty three (33) male and female
Red-winged Blackbirds
were spotted by Chris O'Bryan (alone) in a corn stubble field in
Crandall, Shady Valley, Johnson County,
Tennessee. This bird is an uncommon winter resident, there are over five
known records
for this species in winter according to the- Bird Study in Shady Valley,
Tennessee, year-1934-1999,
by: J. Wallace Coffey and John L. Shumate.
