[TN-Bird] Reporting Birding Locations !

TN-Birders:
Everyone needs to be reminded that reports on the TN-Birds Net requires
specific information about the locality of the sighting.
TN-Bird requirs that you give a full name of the LOCATION and COUNTY for EVERY
bird reported. This is a must. Several recent messages have not done that.
Most of the problems with reporting location are because a birder has a sense
of reporting to friends and others who know them and not to subscribers all
over the state, the south and much of the nation. All of us see bird reports
from places we have no way locating.
Some subscibers head up their report with something like:
August 15, 2003
Ensley Bottoms
Shelby Co. TN
Others us a subjection line: [TN-Bird] Kyker Bottoms, Blount Co, east Tenn
Some simply type it into the body of their message.
Whatever you do, be specific. Even if you are reporting about yard birds at
your home please list the town, city and county.
Let's go birding.....
