The Sunrise Jay Walk (Indigo Buntings and Sunflowers) at Forks of the River WMA
in Knox Co. last Saturday was a splendid outing. Here's what co-leader Jimmy
Tucker had to say about it:

"Great walk this morning lead by Jay Sturner. We had a fantastic couple hours
of birding, with 47 total species identified. Highlights were a pair of black
crowned night herons, osprey, bald eagle, female orchard oriole, northern
parula, massive amounts of Indigo Buntings, Goldfinches, & Cardinals. Here are
a couple shots we snapped along the way."

Many thanks to Jimmy and everyone else that came along!
