April 17 7:30 - 8:30 am.
A trip to Rockland Recreation Area this morning was a bit slow, although we are
still early in migration. Highlights were my first Baltimore Oriole and
Blue-Winged Warblers of the spring, plus a singing Orange-Crowned Warbler.
There were singing Orchard Orioles/Warbling Vireos as well at the point by the
boat ramp, but I didn't have time to sort out the song differences as I had to
head home for a work meeting.
