After consultation with several other more knowlegable birders and study of comparison photo's it has been determined that the reported Ross's Goose at Chickamauga Lake Marina by the Dam is most likley a Snow Goose X Ross's Goose Hybrid. Thanks to those who contributed to the ID. He was still there and not interacting with the other ducks and was staying on the fringe of activity . His markings were a pink bill that was bluish black at the base going around the edges of the bill but not bold. He had pink legs and feet. He went back into the lagoon and was still present at Noon today. I am saying he is a Ross's Goose. J Marty Paige Cleveland, TN SW Bradley County
