After consultation with several other more knowlegable birders and study of
comparison photo's it has been determined that the reported Ross's Goose at
Chickamauga Lake Marina by the Dam is most likley a Snow Goose X Ross's Goose
Hybrid. Thanks to those who contributed to the ID.

Subject: [TN-Bird] Ross's Goose

I went back to Chickamauga Lake Marina this morning to take a second look at
the white goose I saw yesterday hanging with the duck's and coots at the edge
of the boat trailer parking lot.. He was still there and not interacting with
the other ducks and was staying on the fringe of activity . His markings were a
pink bill that was bluish black at the base going around the edges of the bill
but not bold. He had pink legs and feet. He went back into the lagoon and was
still present at Noon today. I am saying he is a Ross's Goose.
