Just a note, for those that like state listing, the parking lot and the entire
trail to the overlook is in North Carolina. The tower at the peak is on the
state line. Sounds like this will be a North Carolina bird.

There was an adult female RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD dominating the flowers along the
paved hiking trail between the parking area and Clingmans Dome this morning.
Moves around a lot but always comes back to the same flowers. I saw it at 7 and
then Victor, Jamin and I saw it again at 9:30. (There are also several dozen
Ruby-throats using this same food source).
