Sounds like you have some excellent winter birds in Rutherford.
Regarding your nuthatch question, I made the same observation some 26
years ago in Alabama, when I had several red-breasted nuthatches. It
seemed the white-breasteds went away. This winter, I'm seeing only one
red-breasted, and the white-breasteds continue.
