TN-birders,
Yesterday about 6:30 pm, Dollyann and I found the Sabine's Gull that had
been reported from the pump station area of the Duck River Unit of the TN
NWR in Humphreys County. We actually pulled into the Camden WMA, which is
on the west side of the TN River, because it affords a wide view of the
river, although this area is a bit north of the pump station area.
It was flying up and back closer to the Humphreys side of the river. At one
point it sat down on the river for a while. It was the only gull/tern that
we saw on the river.
This bird was first reported a couple of days ago in this area
