Upland Sandpipers are feeding on the sod farm at Bark Camp Barrens WMA, Coffee
Co, Tn. Dale Swant saw 2 birds ,Sun. 19Aug12. He and I saw a total of 4 this
morning Mon, 20Aug12.
Directions: Exit 114, I-24, turn left (south) on to Hwy 41. Go 0.7 mile on
41. Turn left on to Ashbury Rd. Go approx. 4.7 miles on Ashbury Rd. Turn
left on to Hickerson Rd and stay on Hickerson Rd ---the birds are feeding just
a short distance from a sharp left turn of Hickerson, on the left side---along
with Meadowlarks, Killdeer, and a few Horned Larks
