I observed a pair of Scissor-tailed flycatchers building a nest on this morning (5/3/08) at the location reported by Terry Witt several years ago northwest of Murfreesboro on Florence Rd between the overpass for I840 and I24. They were carrying nesting material to a power pole along the road. It was a 'hat trick' of lifers this morning as I also got to observe the Bewick's wrens and Lark sparrows reported earlier by Terry Witt and Scott Somershoe.
