YesterdayI heard seven Cerulean Warblers along a 2 mile ridgetop on the
Larkspure Conservation area at Taylor Hollow in Sumner Co.: three males
together, a single male, two males together, and another single male. I’m not
aware of any breeding birds in Sumner County, but I’ll check later in the
season.
Other birds of note were:
Scarlet Tanager
Summer Tanager
and a lot of Hooded Warblers singing their hearts out.
Larkspure is a 172 acre natural burial site with guided and self-guided hikes
available by contacting www.larkspurconservation.org.
