KTOS Field Trip Announcement Dates: Thursday, April 17; Thursday, April 24; Thursday, May 1; and Thursday, May 8 Time: 8 a.m. Leader: Tony Headrick (687-9956) Meet at the ranger's house at 8:00 a.m. The walk will be along the road in Sharp's Ridge Memorial Park. Spring migrants are the objects of this series of trips. Orioles, grosbeaks, warblers, and other spring migrants are expected. These walks are in addition to the KTOS Public Bird Walk on Saturday, April 19, at 8 a.m. The public walk begins at the J.B. Owen overlook, while the Thursday walks begin further up the road at the ranger's house. There are few better places in East Tennessee to see spring migrants.
