Shelby Bottoms
Nashville, Davidson Co.
Frank Fekel, Mark Hackney, and I
birded the shorebird pond in phase
1 of Shelby Bottoms this morning.
We were hoping to add the Virginia
Rail seen there yesterday to Frank's
TN list, but the bird decided to stay
hidden.
Instead, we found the following shorebirds:
Least Sandpiper - 4
Pectoral Sandpiper - 1
Solitary Sandpiper - 1
Spotted Sandpiper - 1
A Louisiana Waterthrush was also seen.
