Chad Smith and I set out early this morning to Shelby Park.
Pouring rain diverted us to Old Hickory Lake where we found Philip Casteel.
Unfortunately, the only notable birds there were 2 Caspian Terns.
The 3 of us then went to Shelby Park visiting Mission Hill and the greenway
Many migrants seen:

Veery
Baltimore Oriole
Philadelphia Vireo
Warblers -
Blue-winged
Nashville
N Parula
Black & White
Chestnut-sided
Magnolia
Prairie
Yellow
Wilson's
Ovenbird
Common Yellowthroat
A Redstart
best of all - adult male Mourning, in the woods just east of the bark-park
