The Short-eared Owl on Swamp Rd in Eagleville appeared at 504p this evening,
Saturday, Jan 5th.
Several of you in the last few weeks have shared that you were unable to see
the bird when looking for it in the area. Bill and I will be happy to make
ourselves available tomorrow evening to help assist those looking to find the
bird. We can meet around 4p at the Eagleville School (parking lot near the
front office). Depending on how many people are interested, we can car pool or
you can follow us to the location. We will need to leave the school by 415p to
be in place to see the bird as sometimes it shows early. If you are interested
in doing this, please email me by 3p tomorrow (Sunday, 1-6-19) so we can plan
accordingly.
Please note that the bird usually isn’t cooperative enough to get a good photo.
