Location:     TN, NHVN N Watkins Ponds S of Bridge
Observation date:     9/25/08

Notes:     Lunch run up into N memphis to see whats in the sloughes and
ponds. Nothing out of the normal for this time of the year except there is
water this year.

Number of species:     10

Mallard     21

Great Blue Heron     2

Great Egret     6

Snowy Egret     1

Little Blue Heron     4

Killdeer     5

Least Sandpiper     24

Eastern Wood-Pewee     1

American Crow     2

Carolina Wren     1

 

 Location:     TN, NHVN Hwy 51 Pond west side

Observation date:     9/25/08

Notes:     Not much happening up at this little slough which is showing some
mud flats.

Number of species:     3

Great Egret     1

Snowy Egret     1

Little Blue Heron     3

 

Location:     TN, Stiles Wastewater Treatment Plant

Observation date:     9/25/08

Notes:     Lunch run through the north treatment plant. 2nd time in two
weeks that the L Yel Legs have been here.

Number of species:     5

Mallard     1

Killdeer     3

Lesser Yellowlegs     16

Least Sandpiper     125

Pectoral Sandpiper     1
