Quick lunch run since I was in the neighborhood working. Overall numbers down, 
did not do an exhaustive search like last week though in the short time here.

Comments:     Another hot day in Memphis 95 degs and high humidity. Lots of 
terns today along with Geese. Still good numbers of Least Sandpipers on the 
Mudflats.

Least Sandpiper  500     500+ scattered over the mudflat to the north side. 
Heat waves during the midday for poor scoping.

Ensley Bottoms, Maxson Wastewater Lagoons(The Pits)/Earth Complex, Shelby, US-TN

Comments:     Lunch run down at the pits, better numbers of Black bellied Wh 
Ducks today. Pects are hard to find. Pit 4 really empty compared to last week. 
Pit 5 had a good variety in the stubbly marsh y conditions up front. No Avocets 
today.

Black-bellied Whistling-Duck  88     Highest nuber of Black-bellies for me this 
year, 6 broods of young totaling 42 (11, 10, 2, 4, 11, 4)
Greater White-fronted Goose  1     Only one bird left, it's companion all 
summer left last week. Still hanging with a small group of Canada's and the 
ducks.
Greater White-fronted Goose (Eurasian)  0
Canada Goose  4
Wood Duck  2
Mallard  12
Canvasback  1     Same bird same place hanging with the Black bellies.
Mississippi Kite  4     Last birds seen as leaving and starting to agitate the 
masses.

Spotted Sandpiper  2
Lesser Yellowlegs  12
Stilt Sandpiper  1
Least Sandpiper  750     750+ well spread out today.
Pectoral Sandpiper  14
