Late morning run to the North Treatment (Stiles) plant. Same cast of
characters as yesterday. Was able to get some better pictures of the singing
Dickcissel and some closer looks at the Spotted Sandpipers. Lots of
Blk-necked Stilts on nests. L Yel Legs, Pectoral, Least, Solitary, Semi
Palmatted Sandpipers and Killdeer are spread through out the complex.

Got away at 2pm for a short run to the South Treatment Plant "The Pits". Ran
into Mike Todd (Who had been there since 730 am) and QB Gray on one of the
side levees that was drivable. No Whistling ducks today. However there were
a lot of Shorebirds on the big pond and scattered throughout the other
ponds. L Yel Legs, Pectoral, Least, Solitary, Stilt, White-rumped , Semi
Palmatted Sandpipers and Killdeer along with a good size group of Wilson's
Phalaropes were again seen in my short visit. My visit was cut short without
counting. Thanks Mike for pointing out the White-rumps.

The main levee between pond 4 & 5 was not drivable today and made for a
muddy walk as Mike evidenced. If no rain tonight a vehicle may make it
tomorrow. 4 WD would be safest. Walk it first Crunchy is good squishy is
Baddddd.
