Comments: MTOS scheduled hike more or less canx'd do to the rain last night
and whats coming later in the morning. Chad Brown showed up as well as I since
it wasn't raining at dawn and was going to be ok so we thought till 11ish.
Lots of birds singing. Chad left after an hour and I continued to do the short
loop to the west to the river and back to the parking area. Got caught by the
rain at 930.
