Late Post Location: TN 1 Cvll, Peterson Lake Nature Center Observation date: 4/6/08 Notes: TOS Memphis Chapter bird walk. Spring has arrived and the birds are starting to show. Hooded Warbler was bird of the day that gave the crowd of birders (25 strong) a good long look as it foraged in the low undergrowth about 25 ft away from the boardwalk. Next scheduled hike at the boardwalk is Weds 23 April and then on Sat 3 May when we have the Boy Scout Bird Study Merit Badge course/hike.
