I birded several areas of Scott County, TN this morn. in the vicinity of Oneida. Best bird was a white phase SNOW GOOSE at Elizabeth Lake (Oneida City Golf Course at Ponderosa Estates) probably a county record. I also had 6 FOX SPARROWS (5 on Lonnie Pike Rd.) along with 27 WHITE CROWNED SPARROWS for an excellent count along Lonnie Pike Rd. This is an area with lots of overgrown, weedy pastures and thickets along fences and 3 ponds. 2 American Kestrel were seen today- One at the Oneida City Park and one at Scott County Airport. Total species today was 45.
