"Bad news....probably. Quite a few Pec's when I got here, few yellowlegs. After
20 minutes or so and shortly before dusk heard the bird clearly 3 times,
moving, saw a group of Pecs with a small plover in tow, flew around around bit
then headed northwest. Just from the look I couldn't say for sure it was a
Snowy, but 100% on hearing it in that area, the group left heading northwest,
and I never heard the Snowy again. Pretty sure it continued on its journey but
maybe they went to roost somewhere close. Leaving late in day heading northwest
in spring bad sign though."
I agree with Mike that it doesn't sound good for the bird staying,
unfortunately...
