Soddy Mtn. Hawk Watch
Chattanooga TOS field trip
It appears if the weatherman gets his way, the field trip will be rained out
tomorrow Sat. 9-21-13.
In any event, Cynthia and I will be attending a funeral tomorrow near Atlanta
and won't be there.
The weather event may be a blessing in disguise since a cold front has been
predicted to follow
the rain. This usually means the hawks will be flying through in greater
numbers one or two days
after the cold front.
It's prime time for Soddy Mtn. to experience greater kettles of Broad-winged
Hawks from now
until the end of September.
