Hi Folks,

Spent some time on Avisys last night, entering sightings. Discovered
the Yellow Rail I saw on Tuesday was a lifer. I'd thought I'd seen
them and not Black, but I was mistaken. Yippee! One in Delaware,
one in Texas for the Black.

I heard a Worm-Eating Warbler on Tuesday and an Ovenbird yesterday
for Tremont first-of-year birds. Northern Rough-winged Swallow pair
number 2, and they aren't always the nicest of neighbors on the
utility lines above the Middle Prong.

Dean - congrats on the Seaside. Lemme guess... the boardwalk
opposite the observation tower, second corner?

Tracey Everson and I will be camping at Warrior's Path State Park
this weekend. If there are any birders in the area, drop by and ask
for us. I'm co-leading a bird walk small presentation on migration
as part of their Earth Day celebrations.

I hope to see some of you tomorrow at the Townsend Wye. If you don't
know where that is, just ask anyone in the town of Townsend (Blount
County, NW entrance of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. And
think Swainson's...
